The idea and site were created by Swervesauce. J is my real name.
What is Swerve Tour Racing League?
It is an online community dedicated to Gran Turismo enthusiasts to enjoy and compete in very organized racing.
How do I become a member?
It is simple. On the right hand column of the site under the "Members" heading, you simply click "follow" and join with any existing Google, Twitter, or Yahoo account or make a new account (member name) just for this site.
What does becoming a member do for me?
When you become a member of this site, you have the option of commenting on any of the blog posts, voting on any polls relating to the league, and receiving emails of any new posts or activity.
How can I participate in the Forums?
It is simple. In the top right corner of the Forum, you click the register link. Use any existing email account you have. This is separate from the Main Site, and is done so to keep spammers out of my Forum.
Where do I see Events or Series that are available?
At the top of the League Home Page, there will be tabs for each individual series. Clicking each respective link will take you to a dedicated page for that series. There will also be information in the Forum about upcoming series discussion as well as ongoing series discussion. Each series will have its own dedicated Sub-Forum.
How do I sign up for a series?
Easy. In the right hand column of the League Home Page, there will be a "Series Registration Link" section. Click the respective link you wish to sign up for and it will take you directly to the sign-up page within the Forum. There is no max to how many series you can sign up for, nor a max for drivers in a particular series unless otherwise stated. Note, if you sign up for a series, please plan on attending. If for some reason you can't or have changed your mind, notify me so I can remove you from the list and make things more organized.
Can I post my photos on the site?
Yes. There is a Sub-Forum in the Forum dedicated to Photos. In the Photo Sub-Forum there is a thread for a Photo of the Week submission that is in the works. You can make a new topic naming it what you wish and post all of your photos there. I also take many photos from the races and put them in a slideshow on the Home Page of each series and will put yours there too.
How can I introduce myself to the League?
Easy. In the Forum there is an Introduce yourself thread. Simply start a new topic with your name and fill it with whatever information you like.
