As you may notice, I have sexied up the site a little bit in prep for the season. I hope everyone had Happy Holidays, I know I did. However, I didn't receive a sweet racing wheel from anyone so I'll snatch one up in the coming weeks. I hope to see some more of you in the practice rooms soon. I am going to host rooms up until the start of the series, which is Monday night January 3rd at 10pm/cst.
Through some testing and reading on the forums it seems that 'Skid Force Recovery' is the same as GT5P's "normal" vs "professional" physics. Therefore, I will not be allowing that in any race. All other options will be up to the driver unless noted within the regulations of that series.
One more thing I've come up with (can't believe I never used it before) is keeping a PSN chat room. I've noticed that if you never delete it you can always get right back in. Now that is the easiest way to communicate with everyone once I have a lot of you in a room , rather than the actual lobby chat in GT5. So if you can remember to not delete the room, just clicking the circle button backs you out. That way even if I'm not on some of you guys can still communicate with one another. I'm trying to organize myself here because once I sign on PSN it gets hectic. I have well over 40 friends with about 31 in GT5 alone. I will also be sending out reminder messages through PSN to all the ones who put their name on the sign up sheet. Anything else that you can think of to make this process more organized and flow please feel free to lay it on me.
Big shout out goes to Fleaver for helping me out with the forums and being a participant in a lot of the practice sessions. Blackbird 190 as well. They are both very good drivers and the competition is going to be nice. So get your machines ready and once you are final on what you're driving, make it know in the forums. I have created a "Drivers Stable" subtopic and all you have to do is make you a topic under it and put the picture of your ride in there.
There's also talk about forming a 'Team' within our community. If you are interested please let me know. I have received several messages from two other leagues who found me through GTPlanet about racing against us and also sharing events. I will provide more information when I get it.
See you guys soon,
Swerve
